Easter Gift Ideas
Speckled – surprisingly smooth Small, yet perfectly thought out. These were inspired by forest foraging and finding eggs in nests, those magical natural speckled colours which make each egg unique. Unlike those nestled in nests, we encourage eating yours.
You’ll find them paired up with our farmyard friends, Elizapeck, Rabbert and Woolliam, bagged up and ready for the hunt. For Easter present ideas, these are meltingly moreish, one isn’t enough.
How Easter eggs are made. Our chocolatier sizes up.
“Behind the shell exterior you crunch through to a yielding hazelnut praline centre in 40% milk. This egg has a softer side.”
Quail – better by the dozen Not your typical dozen eggs. These are modelled and measured on real quail eggs. Lift the lid, they’re all snugly presented in our egg box, ready to pass around. Crack open flavours from Salted Caramel Cream to Nuts About Raspberry. There’s nothing remotely plain about our Vanilla either, crowned with a creamy cracked yolk.
“These Easter eggs are a story of two halves. The back is a smooth truffle, topped with a filled dome so you get an explosion of flavour.”
Kids – farmyard friends leap to life Boing! Our Kids’ Easter eggs are full of farmyard fun, in 40% milk or vegan-friendly 70% dark. Like the pages of a storybook, illustrations from the box came to life when our chocolate sculptress wielded her magic wand (or chocolate carving tools) transforming them into three original Easter characters which hop up everywhere.
How Easter eggs are made. Our chocolate sculptress sizes up.
“The farmyard friends on the packaging were too good to stay flat. Sculpted chocolate characters became our best-loved Rabbert, Elizapeck and Woolliam.”
Hard-Boiled – Easter eggs for the eclectic Passionate about an espresso? Warm to ginger? Our Hard-Boiled Easter eggs are for those who know precisely what they like. Seven to select: Hard-Boiled Coffee combines fine-ground Sumatran Arabica with the crunch of real roasted beans spun into the shell. Brownie yields like a soft bake, spun with pecan praline.
“For devotees. If you’re a hard-boiled fan of mint, coffee or ginger, these eggs take that devotion to the next level.”
Extra-Thick – thicker, not thinner When we first started making our Easter eggs 17 years ago, experts told us to make them as thin as possible. We did the opposite. A sparkling new arrival? Champagne Extra-Thick. Piled with hedonistic truffles filled with Mercier Champagne. The rosy hue of our Pink Champagne Truffles? Natural pressed strawberries.
“You’d expect real Champagne to pour, yet many truffles named after the decadent drink don’t require the ‘pop’ of a cork. Ours do.”
Ostrich – sizing up our showstopper We measured a real ostrich egg to create the heftiest shell in our range weighing in at over a kilo! Inside, an amazing array of 27 of our best-loved chocolates and six golden eggs to hunt. The shells are just as lavish, two halves with an extra bite of almond to delicate feuilletine caramelised wafers. Showstopping party pieces, ready to share.
“Covered twice in melting chocolate. Texture and taste is heightened with crunchy inclusions, from cookies to hazelnut. Break into satisfying shards.”
