40% Milk Chocolate Old Fossil

A fatherly favourite. This Old Fossil has been around for a while, but it’s far from a stick-in-the-mud. Our Old Fossil has been a staple of our Father’s Day range, and it’s not hard to see why. Smooth, mellow – and from the prehistoric era (remind you of anyone?) our Old Fossil is for well-wishers and old fossils alike.

You don’t have to be a palaeontologist to enjoy the beautiful curves of an iconic fossilised ammonite shell, and you don’t have to be a chocolatier to enjoy the rich, delicate cocoa notes of our high cocoa 40% milk chocolate.

Cast in our hand-designed mould, this Fossil really is the first of its kind. Our chocolatiers carefully tempered the molten chocolate to achieve a glossy finish, satisfying snap and effortless melt. Break a piece off and enjoy the slow, subtle release of cocoa notes on your tongue (if he lets you, of course!).

We use a much higher cocoa percentage than other chocolate brands to achieve an intricate and developed flavour. Anything lower than 40% and you risk overpowering the delicate cocoa notes with sugar. Our Old Fossil simply promises high cocoa chocolate, beautifully curved and remarkably preserved in a solid chocolate shell.
