Earthy, smokey and savoury: the pistachio has an amazingly complex flavour profile, which might explain why it’s so addictive. We wanted to bring out its nuanced tastes as much as possible, which is why we’ve packed our selector with as many pistachios as we could fit in.

Due to the delicate nature of the pistachio, we didn’t want to overwhelm it with overpowering flavours. This is why we decided to encase it with 40% caramel-milk chocolate: the subtly sweet notes lift the pistachio beautifully, creating a wonderful balance between sweet and savoury.

Paying tribute to the bejeweled green tinge of the pistachio, we’ve coloured the tops of our Pistachio Chocolate Selector to add a pop of colour. At Hotel Chocolat, we believe in nothing artificial, ever, which is why we’ve only used a natural colourant here to characterise our selector.

The same can be said for our filling: although the dainty notes of the pistachio can be hard to capture, we’ve kept it natural to ensure no nasty, artificial flavours creep into our Pistachio Chocolate Selector.
