Pot au Chocolat Recipe

A classic French dessert that is loved for its intense chocolate hit.

    Heat the cream gently in the microwave until it is lukewarm.

    Add the chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted into the cream.

    When the mixture is still warm add the egg yolks and beat until united with the mixture.

    Add the coffee liqueur and stir until all the ingredients are blended.

    Pour into ramekins immediately and place into the fridge.

    Half an hour before serving remove from the fridge and all the ramekins to rise to room temperature.

    Serve with almond cookies for added crunch.
