We regularly offer our followers and fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter the chance to win Hotel Chocolat products and other products from selected partners.

In the event of the prize no longer being available due to stock limitations, Hotel Chocolat reserve the right to offer the prize winner a gift card or alternative product, to the same value as the promoted prize.

 

Winners are always picked at random and contacted via the social media channel they entered.

 

Chocolate Week Competition

Competition open for entries from 8am Monday 12th October until 23.59pm Sunday 18th October 2020. To enter tag in the comments who you would share a Signature Cabinet on the post in our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook or Twitter). There is 1 prize of a Signature Cabinet available. No prize or cash alternative. We reserve the right to substitute items for those of the same or greater value. The winning entry will be picked and contacted between Monday 19th and Friday 23rd October 2020, and announced on the Hotel Chocolat social media channels. Hotel Chocolat will contact the competition winner to obtain delivery details. A valid email address or telephone number is required, otherwise the entry will be invalid. Entrants must be aged 18 years and over.


Velvetiser competition

Competition open for entries from 12pm Saturday 8th May 2021 until 23.59pm Saturday 15th May 2021. To enter tell us in the comments which Hot Chocolat flavour you'd try first on the post on our social channels. There is 1 prize of The Velvetiser, with 2 Podcups and Selection Sachet Boxes available. No prize or cash alternative. We reserve the right to substitute items for those of the same or greater value. The winning entry will be picked and contacted between Sunday 16th May 2021 and Sunday 23rd May 2021, and announced on the Hotel Chocolat social media channels. Hotel Chocolat will contact the competition winner to obtain delivery details. A valid email address or telephone number is required, otherwise the entry will be invalid. Entrants must be aged 18 years and over.


Chilled Velvetiser UGC Competition Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 Competition summary: A selection of 10 of our Drinking Chocolate and Lattes (the “prize”) will be offered to 1x unique social media participants (the “winner”). The prize will be given to the 1x participant with the most aesthetically pleasing picture of their Chilled Velvetiser drink (or summer Velvetiser moment). In order to be considered for the competition, participants must post their image on their social media profile using the hashtag #ChilledVelvetiser, tag the main Hotel Chocolat social media account and follow the Hotel Chocolat social media account on the channel the image was posted, between August 9th 2021 and August 20th 2021

2. Competition mechanic

2.1 The user must take all the following steps below to qualify for entering the competition:

2.1.1: Take one aesthetic picture of their Chilled Velvetiser drink or summer Velvetiser moment in the setting of their choice (user has the creative liberty to choose setting and placement).

2.1.2: Participants must upload the image to one of the accepted platforms: Instagram or Facebook. The post can be in feed or in stories. Multiple posts can be taken - however this will not increase the participants’ chances of winning the competition. The most aesthetic creation will be chosen.

2.1.3: Tag the main Hotel Chocolat social account on their post and follow the main Hotel Chocolat social account on the channel the image was posted. The main handles are: @hotelchocolat (for Instagram), @HotelChocolat (for Facebook)

2.14: Use the hashtag #ChilledVelvetiser in the post copy of the post or the story. Posts that do not contain the hashtag or the tagged account will not be considered for the competition

2.2 The competition will be live between the following dates: August 9th 2021 and August 20th 2021. The posts must be published exclusively between these dates in order for the user to qualify for the competition. Any posts before the start date or after the end date will not be considered for qualification.

2.3 Hotel Chocolat will choose the most aesthetic and creative post based on the quality of the image. The winning entry will be picked and contacted between August 23rd 2021 and September 3rd 2021, and announced on the Hotel Chocolat social media channels. Hotel Chocolat will contact the competition winner via the social media channel they entered to obtain contact details. A valid email address or telephone number is required for Hotel Chocolat to use as further contact to obtain delivery details.

2.4 Entrants must be aged 18 years and over.

2.5 Hotel Chocolat can use the entrants’ images on their main social media accounts, crediting the user/entrant.


3. The Prize

3.1 The winner will receive a selection of 10 Drinking Chocolate & Lattes Velvetiser sachet boxes. There will be 1 winners.

3.2. The prize is non-refundable and can not be exchanged for cash, discount vouchers or any other Hotel Chocolat products

3.3 The prize will be sent to UK addresses only. Overseas addresses will not be accepted.

3.4 In the event of the prize no longer being available due to stock limitations, Hotel Chocolat reserves the right to offer the prize winner a gift card or alternative product, to the same value as the promoted prize of 10 Velvetiser sachet boxes.

Project Chocolat trip Instagram competition

1. General

1.1 Prize Draw summary: a prize of 1 Project Chocolat experience including a chocolate tour, lunch and a rainforest walk, a 5 night stay at the Rabot Hotel for 2 people (breakfast included), return flights, and a 30% discount off cacao cuisine at the hotel during the stay. The prize will be offered to 1 unique social media participant (the “winner”). The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. In order to be considered for the Prize Draw, participants must tag who they would share the experience within the post comments, and follow both the Hotel Chocolat Saint Lucia (hotelchocolatstlucia) and the Project Chocolat (projectchocolatsaintlucia) Instagram accounts, between Friday 17th and Friday 24th September 2021 (“Prize Draw”).


2. Prize Draw mechanic

2.1 The user must take all the following steps below to qualify for entering the Prize Draw:

2.1.1: tag who they would share the experience with in the post comments 2.1.2: Follow @hotelchocolatstlucia and @projectchocolatsaintlucia on Instagram.

2.2 The Prize Draw will be live between the following dates: Friday 17th and Friday 24th September 2021. The users must enter exclusively between these dates in order to qualify for the Prize Draw. Any entries before the start date or after the end date will not be considered for qualification.

2.3 Hotel Chocolat will choose the winner at random. The winning entry will be picked and contacted between Friday 24th September and Friday 1st October, and announced on the Hotel Chocolat social media channels. By entering into the Prize Draw, participants give their express consent to this announcement (and to the use of the participants name in accordance with clause 2.5 of these Terms and Conditions) or any similar announcements made by Hotel Chocolat in connect with the Prize Draw. Hotel Chocolat will contact the Prize Draw winner via Instagram to obtain contact details. A valid email address or telephone number is required for Hotel Chocolat to use as further contact.

2.4 Entrants must be aged 18 years and over. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

2.5 Hotel Chocolat can use the entrants’ name on their main social media accounts to announce the close of the competition.


3. The Prize

3.1 Trip to be taken within 1 year of receiving the prize.

3.2 To be booked between Friday 24th September 2021 and Friday 23rd September 2022 subject to hotel availability.

3.3 Offer is available to you and one other guest only.

3.4 Over 18’s and UK residents only.

3.5 Both guests must have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining before expiry, and be eligible to travel outside of the UK. Winners are responsible for any Visa requirements if required.

3.6 Hotel stay will include transfers to and from Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF), bed and breakfast for 5 nights only, and 1 Project Chocolat experience for the two guests. Additional cacao cuisine is discounted at 30%.

3.7 Flights must be economy class and direct from the UK to Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) only. Connecting flights and transfers to and from the UK airport are not included. Flight cost is covered up to the maximum value of £1000 per person.

3.8 Unless specifically referred to in this Prize Draw terms and conditions, Winners are responsible for all other cost and expense associated or related to the prize, including, without limitation, their own travel insurance, any medical expenses and any Covid 19 or similar testing.

3.9 There is no cash alternative for prizes and they cannot be exchanged for an alternative item. We reserve the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Hotel Chocolat's control makes it necessary to do so.

3.10 Hotel Chocolat reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

3.11 This Prize Draw is open to all except employees of Hotel Chocolat, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw.

3.12 This Prize Draw and all matters connected with it are subject to English law and any dispute related or connected to the Prize Draw is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
