Subtle notes of pineapple bask in soothing waves of caramel-milk chocolate. Sit back, take that first sip, and feel any tension simply melt away…
Authenticity always tastes better, so we use real pineapple in this recipe, inspired by the classic tropical tipple, the piña colada. To tame the pineapple tang and create a caramelised finish, we meld it with molasses, before mellowing it with our malty caramel hot chocolate.
As this is a limited-edition recipe for the summer months, we recommend pouring your Caramelised Pineapple drinking chocolate over iced milk for a cooling refresher to sip in the sun (palm trees optional). Or for those wonderfully British cloudy summer days, enjoy it hot. INSTRUCTIONS
HOT
1. Pour 220ml milk* into your Velvetiser
2. Sprinkle in the contents of this single-serve
3. Press the button and let the Velvetiser work its magic
*Dairy milk or plant milk.
ICED
1. Add 100ml milk* and a generous amount of ice to a glass. Leave to chill.
2. Pour 120ml milk* and a drinking chocolate single-serve into the Velvetiser. Press the button.
3. Pour velvetised chocolate into your glass of iced milk*, watch it meld. Stir well. Savour.
