We’re all about balance, here at Hotel Chocolat, and our Salted Caramel & Butterscotch Selector is the perfect example. It’s rich and indulgent, without being too sweet. This recipe was a long time in the making, but we think you’ll agree that every second was worth it! Let every mouthful transport you to lazy summer days sipping on a cool, luxurious milkshake.

Creamy, flavoursome, and oh-so moreish, this luscious morsel uses real whipping cream for a light and airy texture to temper the decadence. We believe in authentic ingredients to get the best tastes and textures. Not ones to do things by halves, we’ve been generous with the caramel in this one, too.

We’ve also added a touch of sea salt to bring out the taste of molasses in that gooey centre. All wrapped up in a gorgeous casing of snappable 40% milk chocolate, it’s the ideal treat in place of a heavy pud. Each chocolate is topped with a hint of colour to emulate the golden hues of butterscotch, for the finishing touch — natural colourings only, of course.

As with all our creations, we’ve ensured our milk chocolate has plenty of depth. At 40%, we use a higher cacao content than many other chocolatiers, enabling every mouthful to be smooth and creamy but never sickly. We want those delicate cacao notes to really shine through.
