We’ve created our own salted caramel recipe using our house caramel-milk chocolate, and added a delicate tingle of sea salt, then grated it into fine flakes. So you can effortlessly create a comforting cup of hot chocolate and savour the flavour of this widely popular recipe. Delightfully indulgent, right to the last sip.
 
With this limited-edition purchase, you’ll receive your Salted Caramel hot chocolate in a lovely keepsake tin. An ideal gift for hot chocolate devotees, its chic rose-gold colour and embossed Hotel Chocolat logo on the lid make for a stylish addition to any kitchen countertop or in-home hot chocolate station. The tin contains 250g drinking chocolate, which is around seven servings. Once you’ve finished your drinking chocolate, you can re-use it to store more chocolate flakes, hot chocolate toppings or anything you please – even kitchen utensils or stationery. It looks great next to the VelvetiserTM – our in-home hot chocolate maker.
 
How to use and serve:
Take your choice of milk, add it to your Velvetiser, then sprinkle over six teaspoons of Salted Caramel drinking chocolate flakes. Press the button and in just 2.5 minutes, your velvet-smooth drink is ready for you to enjoy the dulche de leche notes of caramel contrasting with savoury sea salt. Serve this drinking chocolate hot or over ice, with lashings of chilled milk, for a warm-weather cooler with a satisfying cacao depth. Or how about adding it to a cocktail or dessert? The possibilities are endless. If you don’t have a Velvetiser, you can also make this hot chocolate on the hob, but we recommend using the Velvetiser for the best result.
