Pumpkin Pie Selector

An Autumnal classic, perfect for those cosy evenings as the temperatures drop. Americans created this delicious dessert, but we’ve put our own twist on it. A choc we can truly give thanks for. 

Pumpkin in a chocolate might sound a bit unusual, but we promise its lusciously smooth texture and naturally sweet taste works surprisingly well. We’ve lightly spiced a pumpkin ganache with all the flavours you’d expect to find in an Autumnal baked good - think nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.

For that freshly-baked crunch you’d enjoy in a slice of crisp pastry, we used crushed corn-flakes, which contrast beautifully with the velvety finish of the filling. To lighten our Pumpkin Pie even more, we’ve encased it in high cocoa butter white chocolate, adding a creamy finish which melts effortlessly on your tongue. 

As pumpkin pie is a staple centrepiece at a Thanksgiving dinner in the US, we wanted to do this pud justice. Our chocolatiers swapped their aprons for chef’s hats, baking (and eating) a real pumpkin pie first to make sure we got this recipe just right - all in the name of research…
