They Don't come much authentic than these, which are made for us in Turkey from time-honoured recipes and presented in a traditional, keepsake wooden box that makes a beautiful gift. Historically pieces of lokum, from the Arabic rahat al-hulqum, meaning comfort of the throat, were exchanged by European socialites wrapped in silk handkerchiefs but we wouldn't rely on whoever you give these to being willing to share!
