Cacao Gin 500ml

As the only chocolatier to run two bars, we think we know a thing or two about the combination of booze and cacao. This unsung flavour combination is overlooked too many times - we’re here to change that. Surrounded by cacao, we started stirring it into cocktails; including both the nibs and shells, as well as the resulting creamy chocolate. The results were so delightful, we bottled them.

To create our Cacao Gin we took London gin and infused it with cacao for a malty, toasted edge. Five botanicals, including macadamia, juniper, coriander, orange and grapefruit give a fragrant and uplifting finish, expressing both depth and high notes.

Some pairings are made for each other. Cacao gin cries out for ice and a thin slice of orange; it’s rooted in the same principle that sweeter citrus pairs perfectly with chocolate.

We suggest serving with a simple tonic - no other flavours are required.

We like to think we’re not being biased when we think this gin is a real winner: our recipe received the bronze medal at the World Gin Awards 2019.
