As one of the world’s only chocolatiers to also grow our own cacao, we have seen the cacao industry’s challenges first-hand. And we believe in working with other farmers and farming experts to develop a better way, through what we call gentle farming. This collection invites you to join us in our mission, with 100% of the proceeds from its sales going straight back into funding gentle farming initiatives. 

As well as having a unique mission, the Better Way Bar has a unique recipe. Pops of crispy biscuit and tart cherry pieces punctuate deeply satisfying hazelnut chocolate praline, which is enrobed in chocolate. The individual bar is available in two flavour profiles – milk chocolate with 50% cacao and dark chocolate with 70% cacao – and this gift set includes two of each. Your four chocolate praline bars will be delivered wrapped in a sustainable and ethically sourced cotton print in one of two elegant designs inspired by cacao growing and gentle farming.  

The vibrant design for these ethical chocolate bars’ wrappers were inspired by a mural that local artist Naja Simeon hand-painted for us at our Saint Lucian cacao farm, Rabot Estate. It depicts life at a thriving cacao farm, making it the perfect choice to illustrate the Better Way Bar. You can recycle them by taking them to your local supermarket.
