    Heat slowly, stirring until the chocolate is melted and smooth then simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it has a rich sauce-like consistency.

    Remove from the heat and stir in the softened butter and double cream.

    Store, covered, in the fridge for up to a week.
