Manage all demand requirements for WIP and saleable stock by converting forecasts/requests into short to long range operational plans. You will support the Demand Manager in the implementation of strategic operational planning.

Role & Responsibilities

Plan & Demand Attainment
  • Manage all demand requirements for WIP and saleable stock, converting forecasts/requests into mid to long range capacity plans for the manufacturing facility.
  • Create long term capacity plans for hours, resourcing levels (both FTE & Agency)
  • Work with Chocolate Development team for Chocolate universe, line optimisation for pipeline development for seasonal and core requirement.
  • Work with Product development team to ensure that products are ready for production and launch.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager & Process Planner for plan attainment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that plans can be support effectively and efficiently within the DC teams, by providing volumetric plans and line hour requirement.
  • Manage all relevant planning meetings with a pro-active approach to drive through operational benefits.
  • Key stakeholder in quality review to drive through root-cause analysis for operational benefit.
  • Pro-actively challenge plan or material failure to drive change for operational improvement.
  • Produce weekly stock reports identifying surplus requirement and action plan for conversion and root cause analysis to reduce surplus generation.
Reports/Operational Standards
  • Long range capacity plans for line hours, costed plan, resource mapping
  • Review performance against plan with Operations Manager for both attainment and cost adherence.
  • Distribute New Product report and work with Operations Manager to ensure successful first production runs.
  • WIP Inventory Report
  • Distribute Demand template
