Hotel Chocolat Solid Chocolate Tasting Batons: British Gas customers

 

We recently worked with British Gas to send selected customers a limited edition box of Solid Chocolate Tasting Batons. These have the box code 081193.

Unfortunately, due to an administrative error on our part, boxes received by 1st May 2017 include two praline batons, made with hazelnuts. The packaging does contain the statement “May contain traces of nuts”. However, hazelnuts are missing from the ingredients list. 


If you received this promotional box of chocolates and you or anyone in your household suffers from an allergy or intolerance to Tree Nuts then this product should not be eaten. If this is the case then please dispose of the product immediately and contact Hotel Chocolat for further information. If you have gifted the chocolates, please make the recipient aware of this communication immediately.

Please be assured that the error has now been fixed. The remainder of the boxes will be despatched to customers by 26th May, with the correct chocolates, and the correct allergen statements.

The error applies only to this promotional box of chocolates and we can confirm that no other Hotel Chocolat products are affected.

We apologise sincerely for our error and have taken immediate steps to ensure that this doesn’t happen again.
