Bring your Sombrero: Boston’s Hotel Chocolat Spices up May with
Piquant, Limited Time Chocolate Tastings
Inspired by Cinco de Mayo - Enjoy in Chocolatier’s Exclusive Tasting Room
Boston, Mass., May 2010 – Hotel Chocolat, the British cocoa grower and chocolatier will offer a limited time exotic spice Chocolate Tasting event exclusively in Boston during the month of May. This seasonal tasting menu was inspired by the flavors of Cinco de Mayo, including: Hacienda Iara Ecuador Organic 72% Dark with Chili & Pink Peppercorns, Liquid Aztec Chocolat and a number of other chocolate selections and rare cocoa varieties that awake the palate.
“Hotel Chocolat likes to bring a surprise to the enjoyment of premium chocolate,” explained Hotel Chocolat’s US CEO Nicki Doggart. “Cinco de Mayo sets a party mood and these limited release flavors are like a party in a bar.”
Hotel Chocolat’s May Chili and Chocolate Tastings are available by reservation ($50/person) and are held exclusively in the company’s only Tasting Room, located at the chocolatier’s 141A Newbury Street store. The hour-plus experience includes a full chocolate tasting journey and an introduction to Hotel Chocolat’s Rabot Estate in St. Lucia, its Engaged Ethics program, the origins of chocolate, and a peek into the “no nasties” commitment to premium ingredients and Less Sugar more Cocoa approach.
